In AB04, which is a Swedish standard for general rules for byggeentreprenader, are two hovedformater:
Fixed price: In this method of payment will be contractors and the client agree on a fixed price for the entire entreprenaden. This means that the contractor bears the risk of any cost overruns.
Current account: The contractor will be paid for its own costs plus a percentage entreprenørvederlag. These two forms of payment provides a degree of flexibility and covers the different scenarios that can arise during a construction project.
It is important to note that AB04 is a standard for general provisions, and that it is still required that the parties in the entreprenadeaftalen specify and customize the details about the payment based on the project's unique requirements and circumstances.
